This is still my favourite Japanese tattoo magazine.
As far as I know, they have been around longer than anyone
else.

In every issue you will at least find:

- one article about a Japanese master (machine and/or hand),
- a feature on a Western artist,
- coverage of domestic and international conventions,
- reprints of interesting ukiyo-e (woodblock print),
- and a listing of studios in Japan.

Horiyoshi III is a regular contributor; but all articles are in
Japanese language only.

Burst, by the way, also publishes other underground mags,
including one-off specials on hooligans and sex...

(Have not updated this section for way too long, I know, but
my current schedule is too tight. Do please forgive me.)
